My name is Mahé - pronounced [mae].

Since 2009, I have studied and practiced therapy, energetic medicine, meditation and spirituality. It led me to become a certified and accredited therapist which prompted me to launch my own private practice.

I am French, I live in Portugal and before that I lived for fourteen years in Australia. I therefore know a thing or two about starting over, moving countries, learning new languages and changing career.

I am married and we have boxer who you’ll you probably see wandering in the background of my Zoom screen from time to time.

I believe in therapy, energy medicine and spiritual practices done in a grounded and pragmatic way that is integrated and part of daily life.

I am not woohoo, I don’t use jargon, I don’t sugar coat and I am known to be direct, not to tell people what they want to hear.

You’ll understand that this isn’t everyone’s cup of tea.

I have an absolute passion for this work and I see it as my duty of care to support people in the best way I can and to share what I know with those who are willing and open to receive.

My qualifications

I have a personal issue with the amount of people in the industry of complementary therapies who practice as healers or therapists without proper training, qualifications and experience. I think it’s wrong on many levels, unethical and possibly dangerous for clients. So I decided to list everything that I formally did and studied because I think it’s important. I’ll also add for transparency’s sake that serious therapists should have a therapist too and also be part of a peer group where their work can be supervised.
